On Wednesday, November 8, 2017, scholars from Lincoln University came out to
RAPCS to present the “Let’s Talk About It” campaign. Our students were presented with an
opportunity to see many aspects of the college experience and to hear life lessons from young
adults who are not far removed from their teenage years. This type of exposure is powerful for
our students, because it helps to see college as a reality.
According to Marquis Butler, Lincoln University Coordinator, the mission of the “Let’s
Talk About It” campaign is to provide an exemplary program for young learners, taking a
holistic approach that focuses on self-sufficiency, civic responsibility, physical well-being and
community linkages where the values of self, family and community is incorporated in all
aspects of the educational process.
